What You’ll Be Doing Operations and Programming: Investigate, determine processes and deliver processes to support day-to-day operations of the Testing Centre including External Testing, Academic Testing (Accommodated and Missed/Makeup Testing), Assessments for Success and Pre-Admissions testing; arrange invigilators, respond to staff inquiries, troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, and coordinate testing sessions. Communicate with students or faculty to ensure accurate test bookings policies and procedures are followed. Data management: Extract, compile, manipulate, verify and input data into customized databases to support a smooth testing process; prepare and disseminate reports. Research support: Meet with stakeholders, inform, and offer solutions to research needs of the department. Troubleshoot and resolve system problems. Information and Data Management Focus on IAHS and Stoney Creek campuses to manage scheduling and registration for all incoming testing requests. Manage data from online test bookings, ensuring correct accommodations and identifying trends to support satellite campuses. Assist with preparation for upcoming testing cycles by coordinating with affected departments, verifying policies, sharing information with staff and students, and updating databases. Resolve technical issues, troubleshoot system errors, and modify scripts as needed during testing periods, including evenings and weekends, at all Mohawk campuses. Collaborate with Testing Centre Manager for data preparation, retrieval, analysis, and reporting for research projects. Produce monthly statistical reports for the Testing Centre Manager and disseminate to the Dean of Students area. Student & Staff Liaison Develop relationships with counsellors, faculty, and coordinators at satellite campuses to troubleshoot and implement solutions with Accessible Learning Services to ensure optimal testing environments. Establish rapport with third-party software technical support personnel. Be familiar with Testing Centre Policy, Ontario Human Rights Code and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Participate in departmental safety training and regular staff meetings. All Other Duties As Assigned Provide support to Testing Centre part-time staff and invigilators. Oversee scheduling and administration of External Proctoring services by liaising with other colleges and institutions. Prepare for upcoming testing cycles by coordinating with departments, training staff, and communicating with students and faculty; identify process efficiencies. Research, manipulate, assemble and analyze data to support student success initiatives.
