**Unit/Project Description**:
Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals who support over 5,700 students with disabilities, develop accommodation plans, provide learning strategies support, note-taking services, transcription services, support for assistive technology, test administration, and exam invigilation. SAS is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC)

**Job Summary**: Completes test and examination coordination and scheduling for the department. Troubleshoots issues with test and examination scheduling and document preparation. Communicates with instructors, staff and students regarding test and exam preparation and scheduling.

**Purpose and Key Functions**:

- Coordinate and schedule accommodated tests and exams for students including initial booking and adjustments.
- Communicate with instructors to ensure timely submission and proper formatting of test/exam copies according to university standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding test and exam scheduling and document preparation and submission, electronic copies, in-person deliveries, and access passwords.
- Ensure all materials are submitted in compliance with University guidelines and departmental deadlines.
- Enter, review, and validate data for scheduling and ensure accuracy of test accommodation planning.
- Assemble student test packages for test/exams based on instructor specifications and ensuring completeness of test package.
- Provide accurate information on scheduling, examination procedures, rules, and regulations to staff, students, and faculty.
- Conduct database searches to determine the appropriate room type to accommodate test and exam requests.
- Review the format of examinations to ensure they conform to established University standards
- Focus on meeting service level standards while supporting students from a student-centric approach including listening and referring students to the appropriate internal and/or external services and departments.
- Review the quality of all materials produced and accuracy of quantities needed by the deadlines provided in a high paced, rapid turnaround environment.
- Administer testing and appointment late cancellation fees, following up with students to validate reasons for missed tests or exams
- Update and maintain confidential files and records, handling sensitive materials in accordance with established policies.
- Write a variety of documents and reports, such as procedure manuals, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
- Collect, verify, input, and manage data in spreadsheets, databases, and filing systems; conduct research for documents, reports, and publications.
- Update and maintain departmental website and related resources
- Contribute to various departmental and divisional projects.
- Use data systems to send test/exam booking confirmations as requested.
- Provide support for printing and packing test/exam copies to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Troubleshoot printer jams and optimize material usage.
- Set up and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems to ensure efficient document management
- Exercise discretion in the release of confidential information.

**Supervision**:

- Provides functional guidance to others on an ongoing basis.

**Requirements**:

- Three year diploma in administration or a related field.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
