TalentWorld is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Operations Officer II to join one of our esteemed clients in the financial sector. The Operations Officer II will play a crucial role in managing commercial deposit accounts, facilitating account changes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, and a keen eye for detail to mitigate risks effectively.

TalentWorld is recruiting Bilingual Operations Officer II in Markham, ON for one of its clients.

Bilingual Operations Officer II Job Responsibilities:

  • Open new commercial deposit accounts in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Process account change requests, including changes in signing authority, promptly and accurately.
  • Facilitate the opening of additional accounts for existing customers via Letter of Direction, while obtaining and compiling all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), regulatory, and legal compliance requirements throughout all operations.
  • Manage a fast-paced, high-volume environment by efficiently multitasking and meeting individual and team-driven benchmarks.
  • Uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and quality service delivery at all times.
  • Proactively identify and resolve partner and customer issues with resourcefulness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Bilingual Operations Officer II Qualifications:
  • Fluency in both English and French is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking operations or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial deposit accounts and associated banking procedures.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements, including AML and KYC regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to review and comprehend complex legal documents.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Employment Details:
  • Salary: $22 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid
  • Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
  • Location: Markham, ON
