This role is highly hands-on and execution-driven, responsible for ensuring our HR processes are consistent, compliant, and scalable as the company grows. The ideal candidate is confident leading difficult conversations, building structured processes, and supporting leadership through clear documentation and follow-through.This role will operate independently and serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.Key ResponsibilitiesHiring, Onboarding & OffboardingExecute the full hiring lifecycle, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, and onboardingManage employee offboarding and terminations in alignment with leadership directionMaintain consistent hiring and exit processes across the organizationEmployee Relations & Performance ConversationsServe as the first point of contact for HR-related employee concernsLead difficult employee conversations with professionalism, empathy, and claritySupport leadership with performance management, corrective action, and documentationPerformance Management & AccountabilityExecute performance review cycles and ongoing feedback processesPrepare documentation and templates for performance improvement plans and disciplinary actionsReinforce accountability while maintaining a fair, respectful, and compliant workplaceProcesses, Documentation & TemplatesBuild, maintain, and improve HR processes, policies, and internal documentationCreate standardized templates for common HR scenarios (discipline, reviews, promotions, exits, etc.)Ensure HR documentation is organized, current, and consistently appliedOrganizational & Leadership SupportTranslate strategic direction into operational executionIdentify gaps in people processes and recommend practical, scalable improvementsSupport company initiatives by creating structure that enables follow-through and consistencyWhat Success Looks LikeHR processes run smoothly without constant interventionEmployees experience consistency, clarity, and professionalismDifficult conversations are handled promptly and correctlyDocumentation is organized, accessible, and scalableLeadership can focus on strategy, trusting HR execution is handledIdeal Candidate Qualifications5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related fieldComfortable owning execution independently without a supporting HR teamConfident handling difficult conversations and sensitive situationsHighly organized, proactive, and detail-orientedEnjoys building systems and processes in a growing organization401(k) retirement planHealth, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous Paid Time Off, Vacation, and Sick leaveTuition reimbursementDisability insuranceRemote work flexibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
