Our client is a successful Real Estate Development company located in GTA north and they have an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Project Manager, development, this position will support with advancing all aspects of the project including due diligence, development approvals, site servicing construction, building permits, and other similar responsibilities.
  • Providing reports for projects including scheduling and budget updates
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings with internal department teams, external consulting teams, municipal staff, and other stakeholders
  • Regularly report on municipal policies, initiatives, and relevant planning applications in the GTA
  • Ensuring in the short term that the milestones to deliver project approvals and infrastructure are met along with multiple developments scheduled for imminent construction
  • Identifying project risk and assisting with mitigation efforts
  • Preparing project budgets, schedules and working closely with the senior management team to ensure deliverables are on time and on budget
  • Assisting with the creation and update of pro-forma financial models
  • Providing analytical support for monthly reporting and accruals
  • Attend meetings on-site with Site Servicing, Utility, and landscaping contractors, take detailed minutes, and provide regular reporting on development construction activities
  • Pursue Letter of Credits reduction on completed projects

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in planning, engineering, or related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working for another real estate developer
  • Experience with development approvals, building permits, and development construction activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in delivering residential projects (low-rise, mid-rise)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
