Compensation: $33.00/hour; $49.50/hour overtime

Schedule: Mon-Fri; 30 hours/week

Working Address: 4-3571 Viking Way; various worksites

Vacation: 4% or two weeks

Employment Requirements:

  • 2 years or more of experience
  • College Certificate or higher in electronics, technician, or related field
  • Able to:
    • Work with power tools
    • Solder and crimp connectors
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Additional certification and/or experience is an asset

Employment Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair household electronic equipment including security cameras, A/V equipment, network devices, smarthome equipment, motion sensors, enterphones, entertainment as well asspeakersand various other electronics.
  • Follow equipment manuals and/or blueprints and adjust accordingly
  • Complete system configuration and adjust to client needs
  • LAN system configuration and installation
  • Inspect and test devices
  • Pulling cables, mount and hardware installation
  • Cable and wire organization
  • Teach client how to operate various electronics, devices, and OS
  • Troubleshoot various electronics and devices
  • Travel to various sites in Greater Vancouver Area
