Regional Recycling is a local family run business that would love to have your family become a part of ours. We are a high-volume Recycling Facility carrying out a goal of Zero Waste and have 9 locations that span across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky and Vancouver Island.

Currently, we are looking for:

- **1 Electronics/Yardperson (FT; 5 Days/week; 8 hours/day)**
- This employment opportunity is in our _**Richmond location**_. We are seeking applicants who are living in lower-mainland area and are comfortable with the commute to our work location for their scheduled shift._

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR...**
- Physically fit and able to lift up-to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Knowledge of electronics products, batteries, paints, and lights.
- Comfortable using android tablets.
- Comfortable operating various equipment. Forklift Driving experience is an asset, but not required.
- A problem solver, punctual, organizational skills, and someone who shows initiative.
- Good customer service skills.
- High commitment to personal safety and the safety of the others.
- Previous work experience in a warehouse is a bonus, but not required.

**WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO**

Reporting directly to managers, Electronics/Yardsperson will work to perform tasks such as:

- Opening and closing of the electronics area, and attending the electronics customers.
- Sorting the electronics appliances such as microwaves, computer screens, TV screens, mobile phones, DVD's, CD's, laptops, remotes, wires, etc
- Sorting the different types of batteries, lights and bulbs based on their cateogories and sizes.
- Sorting the paint products, and store them into the boxes.
- Stacking and wrapping the sorted items together and placing them to shipping area.
- General yard clean-up, manual lifting, pushing bins, sweeping, and general clean up throughout the yard in order to maintain production and cleanliness of the facility and a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
- As skills develop further training for additional tasks will be provided
- Other tasks as assigned by the managers or supervisors.

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
