The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Sr Brand Design Coordinator to join our team. The incumbent will assist the brand design team in various tasks, including project tracking with internal and external partners such as creative agencies and licensing partners, managing requests, and coordinating the digital asset management system. Reporting to the Graphic Design Manager, the Sr Brand Design Coordinator will be working primarily with Graphic Designers, but also partnering with the Marketing and the Copywriting teams.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Act as a point of contact for external agencies to manage files, budget tracking, and workload.
  • Work closely with the lead designer and graphic design manager to determine projects to be outsourced to external agencies.
  • Create and relay briefs to external agencies with work requests, deadlines, and approximate budgets.
  • Prepare all necessary materials and documentation to facilitate work, including file transfers and access management.
  • Maintain budget tracking documentation, manage invoices in our internal system, and follow up accordingly.
  • Manage approvals from licensing partners for international markets and the brand design team.
  • Set up and track deadlines with internal teams for each project in the brand department.
  • Coordinate the digital asset management system, ensuring the team executes tasks correctly and images are integrated with appropriate metadata .
  • Integrate marketing resources with appropriate metadata and collaborate closely with internal and external partners to meet the DAM system needs of various departments.
  • Validate that all DAM system requirements are met.
  • Coordinate priorities for creative team members based on dates and strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest DAM system processes and requirements.
What We’re Looking For:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (project management, asset management , marketing, communications, or graphic design).
  • 5 years of experience in project coordination and collaboration with agency graphic designers.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills (synthesize and communicate a large amount of information).
  • Independent, positive, and team oriented.
  • Bilingual (French/English), both oral and written.
Assets:

  • Experience in graphic design, with proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite ( InDesign , Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD).
  • Familiarity with project management software (Workfront, Asana, etc) and Microsoft suite.
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
