This is a hybrid role; collaboration with the creative team is required, with shooting in our Toronto office when needed.Aviron is right for you if you are focused on personal and professional growth, value merit, are self-motivated, dislike office politics, want to own your work end-to-end, and aim to impact growth through your work.ResponsibilitiesDrive the planning, shooting, editing, and production of video content for paid and organic channelsReview creative briefs, develop storyboards, and plan productionEnsure video content is optimized for performance and engagement across channels and iterate based on data while maintaining the Aviron brand, story, and creative strategyIterate creative based on paid social results and team feedbackCollaborate with the Creative, Growth, and Product Marketing teams to align content with brand story and strategyEmploy advanced editing techniques to enhance video quality (color correction, sound design, motion graphics)Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software equipment (cameras, production equipment, edit systems)Scope and rent/purchase equipment as needed and build an in-house studio-style production setupOther duties as assignedQualifications3-5 years experience as a video producer, within DTC or e-commerceStrong knowledge of video equipment and shooting techniquesProficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar)A creative mindset with strong storytelling and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous, and collaborative environmentWhat we offer$5,000 annual education allowance for developmentUnlimited Essential Days for planned or unforeseen eventsEmployee Stock Ownership PlanAnnual discretionary bonusFree rower, bike, or treadmillTeam on-sites at the Toronto office twice a year100% employer-paid benefitsAll the best tech, including a Mac laptop and large monitorWe are an equal opportunity employer.
