Base pay range CA$75,000.00/yr - CA$85,000.00/yr We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional to join our client's team in North York. The successful candidate will handle a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including project accounting, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general office support. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoice preparation, project tracking, invoice issuance, and vendor postings Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor statements, and other accounts as needed Post and maintain monthly journal entries Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow forecasts Issue monthly vendor statements and follow up on outstanding receivables Support year-end preparation and coordination with external accountants Prepare government remittances, including CRA (GST/HST), WSIB, and other required filings Provide general office administration and support as needed Maintain organized digital filing systems and ensure accuracy in documentation Utilize Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) for day-to-day work Experience with payroll processing (ADP) is considered an asset Experience and Skills: Previous experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or project accountant Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Deltek Ajera/Vantagepoint, Clearview, or similar Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and monthly reconciliations Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines Education and Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr
