About the role Relevant to the Director, FP&A, the FP&A Analyst will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis function and will contribute to the company’s financial success through detailed analysis, accurate forecasting, and insightful reporting. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can collaborate effectively with the product, sales, and operations teams to provide financial insights and gather essential inputs for forecasting. What you’ll own / Responsibilities Variance analysis: conduct analyses of financial results compared to forecasts, identify key drivers of variances, and provide actionable insights from revenue (new sales, churn, revenue per contract) and expenses (COS, SG&A), including full P&L by location. Tracking and review: diligently track revenue and expenses, meet with budget owners to review revenue recognition forecasts and spending patterns, and adjust future projections. Collaboration with operational, product and sales teams: work closely with these teams to provide financial insights, aid decision-making, and obtain essential inputs for accurate forecasting. Monthly financial reporting: support the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Budgeting support: assist in the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to develop comprehensive and realistic budgets. Financial modeling: develop and maintain models to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and long-range planning. Performance metrics: monitor KPIs and provide regular reports on financial performance. Ad-hoc analysis: perform ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as requested by management. Other related tasks. What you bring Experience Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in financial planning and analysis. Education/Certification/Designation Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where quality, innovation, speed of decision-making and execution are essential. Knowledge of the data center industry or a similar technology-driven sector is a plus. Technical Skills / Knowledge Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Experience with financial reporting and forecasting systems; experience with Essbase/Hyperion and NetSuite Reporting is a plus. Working Conditions The role offers standard working conditions in a hybrid environment (office and home-based) with a regular Monday–Friday workweek. The incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and manage stress. All offers are contingent upon successful completion and satisfactory results of a background investigation.
