What Your Team Does The People Business Partner team partners with leaders across Clio to deliver scalable, human‑centered people solutions. PBPs work closely with People Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, People Operations) to ensure a consistent, compliant, and exceptional employee experience from hire to exit. Together, we help Clio build high‑performing teams and strong leaders at every stage of growth. What You’ll Work On Business Partnership & Leader Enablement Partner with leaders to deliver People programs and services that support departmental and company‑wide goals. Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, providing insights and recommendations on people‑related topics. Support leaders through day‑to‑day people matters while maintaining a strong focus on long‑term organizational health. Build strong, credible relationships across your assigned client groups. People Strategy, Performance & Talent Support Advise leaders on organizational design, role clarity, team structure, and workforce planning. Support performance management processes, including goal‑setting, feedback, and development planning. Partner with leaders on engagement, succession planning, and talent development conversations. Provide guidance on compensation principles and Total Rewards programs in partnership with the appropriate SMEs. Employee Relations, Compliance & Risk Management Identify and manage employee relations issues and investigations, partnering with People SMEs and Legal as required. What You’ll Bring 5–8+ years of progressive HR / People Business Partner experience. Experience supporting leaders across one or more functional areas (e.g., Product, Engineering, GTM, G&A). Solid knowledge across core People disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational design. Strong understanding of employment law and compliance requirements. Comfort partnering with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities. Data‑informed mindset with the ability to translate insights into action. Strong communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills. High integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach. Demonstrated interest in elevating your craft using AI. Bonus Points If You Have Experience in a high‑growth SaaS or technology environment. Experience supporting globally distributed teams. Familiarity with HRIS and people analytics tools. Clioversary recognition program with special acknowledgement at 3, 5, 7, and 10 years. The expected salary range* for this role is $75,800 to $89,200 to $102,600 CAD. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency. Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
