This role will focus on ensuring that all DLP control rulesets, configurations, and enforcement measures are accurately migrated, optimized, and maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DLP control ruleset management, a deep understanding of data security protocols, and a proven track record of handling complex DLP platform migrations.DLP Control ruleset MigrationSupport the migration of DLP control rulesets from the existing platform to the new platform;Ensure that all DLP control rulesets, including data identification, classification, and monitoring, are accurately mapped and transferred to the new platform;Review and validate current DLP control rulesets and recommend necessary improvements to optimize detection and protection;Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data protection requirements and adapt DLP control rulesets to meet those needs.DLP Control ruleset OptimizationEvaluate and refine existing DLP control rulesets to ensure they are properly configured for the new platform and aligned with organizational goals;Develop and test new DLP control ruleset templates for enhanced security and compliance;Fine‑tune and optimize existing control rulesets to minimize false positives and maximize the accuracy of DLP alerts.Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with DLP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of DLP control rulesets into the new platform;Provide guidance and support to teams on DLP control ruleset enforcement, data classification, and monitoring post‑migration;Work with appropriate incident response teams to monitor the effectiveness of DLP control rulesets after migration.Compliance and ReportingEnsure that all DLP control rulesets comply with relevant data protection laws, industry regulations, and organizational standards;Create detailed reports on the DLP migration process, control ruleset configurations, testing results, and any changes made during the migration.Training and DocumentationDevelop comprehensive documentation for all DLP control rulesets, including configurations, rules, and migration steps;Conduct training sessions for security teams and stakeholders on managing and fine‑tuning DLP control rulesets in the new platform.Testing and ValidationPerform thorough testing and validation of all DLP control rulesets post‑migration to ensure proper enforcement, accuracy, and detection;Address any issues or challenges related to DLP control ruleset execution or migration gaps.What do we expect from you?The minimum required skills necessary for this role:Experience3-5 years of experience in DLP control ruleset management and implementation;Proven experience with DLP platform migration or similar large‑scale IT security migrations;Familiarity with managing DLP platforms (e.g., Forcepoint, McAfee, Digital Guardian, etc.) and cloud‑based DLP solutions;Strong understanding of data security and data protection best practices.SkillsHands‑on experience with DLP control ruleset creation, modification, and migration;Ability to troubleshoot and optimize DLP control rulesets to minimize disruptions while ensuring maximum data protection;Strong analytical skills to interpret data, detect security risks, and optimize security control rulesets;Proficiency in scripting or automation tools for DLP control ruleset management (e.g., PowerShell, Python);Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide technical guidance.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud‑based DLP solutions and integrations (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Workspace);Knowledge of advanced data leakage prevention techniques like content inspection, behavioural analysis, and machine learning‑based detection.TMC is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
