Job Title: DLP Platform Migration Specialist Location: Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x/week) Contract type: 12 Months Contractpercent Job Overview Support the transition of Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) solutions to a new technology. Ensure accurate migration, optimization, and maintenance of all DLP control rulesets, configurations, and enforcement measures. Leverage strong experience in DLP control ruleset management and data security protocols. Handle complex DLP platform migrations effectively. Key Responsibilities DLP Control ruleset Migration Support the migration of DLP control rulesets from the existing platform to the new platform. Ensure accurate mapping and transfer of all DLP control rulesets, including data identification, classification, and monitoring. Review, validate, and recommend improvements for current DLP control rulesets to optimize detection and protection. Collaborate with business stakeholders to adapt DLP control rulesets to meet data protection requirements. DLP Control ruleset Optimization Evaluate and refine existing DLP control rulesets for proper configuration and alignment with organizational goals. Develop and test new DLP control ruleset templates for enhanced security and compliance. Optimize existing control rulesets to minimize false positives and maximize DLP alert accuracy. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with DLP engineers and other stakeholders for smooth integration of DLP outright rulesets into the new platform. Provide guidance and support on DLP control ruleset enforcement, data播播 classification, and monitoring post-migration. Work with incident response teams to monitor DLP control ruleset effectiveness after migration. Compliance and Reporting Ensure compliance of all DLP control rulesets with data protection laws, industry regulations, and organizational standards. Create detailed reports on the-StrDLP migration process, control ruleset configurations, testing results, and changes made during migration. Training and Documentation Regularvm Conduct training sessions for security teams and stakeholders on gengying and fine-tuning DLP control rulesets in the new platform. Testing and Validation Perform thorough testing and validation of all DLP control rulesets post-migration to ensure proper enforcement, accuracy, and detection. Address leyes or challenges related to DLP control Ruleset execution or migration gaps. Qualifications Experience 3-5 years of experience in DLP control ruleset management and implementation. Proven experience with DLP platform migration or similar large-scale IT security migrations. Familiarity with managing DLP platforms (e.g., Forcepoint, McAfee, Digital Client) and cloud-based DLP solutions. Strong understanding of data security and data protection best practices. Skills Hands‑on experience with DLP control ruleset creation, modification, and migration. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize DLP control rulesets to minimize disruptions while ensuring maximum data protection. Strong analytical skills to interpret data, detect security risks, and optimize security control rulesets. Proficiency in scripting or automation tools for DLP control ruleset management grouping (e.g., PowerShell, Python). Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide technical guidance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based DLP solutions and integrations (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Workspace).
