As a Group Strategy Director at Critical Mass, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver purpose-driven, insight-driven strategies that drive exceptional client outcomes. You will oversee the quality and effectiveness of all strategic work across projects and accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry trends. Your ability to plan and execute complex projects will provide an in-depth understanding of client needs, their competitive landscape, and key industry dynamics. You will be a trusted partner to multidisciplinary teams, from Creative to Technology, and will be expected to communicate your insights and strategies clearly across all levels.You will:Lead and mentor multiple strategy teams to integrate performance marketing into broader business objectives, ensuring long-term ROIDrive the development and growth of performance marketing programs, technologies, and opportunitiesOversee the creation of inter-departmental performance marketing strategiesDevelop scalable frameworks for performance marketing strategies across campaigns, projects, and accountsEstablish and promote performance marketing best practices, guidelines, and workflows.Contribute to the evolution of performance marketing standards across the agencyCollaborate effectively with senior teams to align multiple projects and initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and third-party teams to optimize campaign executionBe a key presence on the ground with clients in New York City, driving strategy and innovation while managing expectations and delivering impactful resultsYou have :8-10+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record of driving measurable results across multiple channels (PPC, SEO, display, social media, etc.)Expertise in at least two I&P disciplines (business analysis, qualitative consumer research, web analytics, information architecture), with a well-rounded knowledge of othersSolid understanding of media in the context of performance marketingStrong ability to translate complex strategies and insights into clear, persuasive communication for clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsExcellent relationship-building skills, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering exceptional marketing campaignsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions to optimize marketing performanceProven leadership experience in mentoring and developing high-performing strategy teams within a collaborative, results-oriented environmentAbility to collaborate with creative teams and subject matter experts to transform insights into compelling, high-impact campaignsExperience across ad tech/mar tech platforms (such as Flashtalk , Celtra , Innovid , Omni) with a solid understanding of how these platforms workComfortable engaging with client data platforms , with a high-level understanding of platform integrations and data-driven marketing strategiesExperience in CPG or telecom industries is highly preferredWhat We Offer:Global maternity and parental leaveCompetitive benefits packagesVacation, compassionate leave, sick days, and flex daysAccess to online services for families and new parentsSummer Fridays (off at 3:00 PM local time every Friday)Diversity and Inclusion Board with 12 affinity groupsInternal learning and development programsEnterprise-wide employee discountsOur new hires & employees are the future of our organization, and we want to set you up for long-term success.
