Head of Distribution

Telico builds intelligent business phone systems that help organizations operate more efficiently and never miss opportunities. Our focus is on growing market share year over year by winning clearly defined verticals through strong distribution. We are a founder‑led company with clear strategy and focus. We’re now looking for someone to own distribution and growth execution. The Role We are hiring a Head of Distribution & Growth to build and scale how Telico goes to market. This is not a corporate role and not a high‑base salary position. It’s a hands‑on builder role with real upside, designed for someone who wants ownership, autonomy, and meaningful participation in the growth they create. You will work directly with the Founder, who defines: Clear constraints (“what not to do”) You will own how Telico gets sold and how distribution scales. What You’ll Own Build and execute Telico’s distribution strategy Recruit, onboard, and activate channel partners (MSPs, IT firms, resellers) Run focused direct sales to validate messaging and land flagship accounts Turn early wins into repeatable partner playbooks Create and close pipeline yourself, then scale what works Track and improve leading indicators: partner productivity, pipeline, win rates Drive market share growth, not just one‑off revenue What You Will Not Do You will not choose verticals (Founder‑led) You will not over‑customize the product for one‑off deals You will not chase misaligned or low‑quality revenue You will not wait for perfect information to act Who This Role Is For Has experience building distribution, partnerships, or B2B sales Is comfortable closing deals personally Thinks in leverage and systems, not headcount Wants compensation tied directly to results Is energized by building in an early‑stage, focused environment This role is not for someone looking for a high guaranteed salary or a purely strategic position. Compensation (Please Read Carefully) Revenue share: Uncapped, tied directly to gross margin generated through distribution and new business Upside: Significant earning potential as distribution scales Path: Clear progression toward a GM role as the business grows This role is designed for builders who want to earn meaningfully from what they create. The role begins with a 90‑day trial period to ensure mutual fit. Success is measured by partner activation, pipeline creation, and early revenue traction.
