Hello My name is Leena Yousefi and I am the founder of YLaw. YLaw is one of the fastest-growing law firms in Western Canada. Over the past 14 years, I have balanced my legal work with marketing, writing blogs, launching a legal app, and building a digital presence. Now, with a team of more than 25 lawyers and 50 staff, we are looking for a Marketing Director to help us expand our brand both online and offline. Why This Role Exists YLaw already has strong brand recognition, a public-facing founder, and a solid digital presence. We need someone who can own marketing end to end and bring cohesion, leadership, and follow-through to everything we do. What Makes YLaw Different We innovate constantly, build legal tools to improve access to justice, and are comfortable being publicly transparent. We test progressive workplace policies and challenge norms. Responsibilities Define and execute marketing strategy for YLaw, ensuring cohesion across digital and offline platforms. Lead content creation, campaign development, timelines, and performance tracking. Oversee SEO, paid media, email marketing, and marketing automation tools. Dive into analytics to refine tactics and report on ROI. Collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams to align marketing objectives with business goals. Manage offline brand initiatives including events, partnerships, media, and community engagement. Qualifications Proven marketing experience, with a strong track record in digital marketing, SEO, paid campaigns, email marketing, and automation tools. Comfortable working with analytics, reporting, and performance metrics. Experience or interest in offline marketing and brand presence is an asset. Demonstrated leadership and ability to balance strategy and hands‑on execution. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Technology and Data You should be comfortable working with analytics, reporting, and performance metrics. Familiarity with AI tools is an asset. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience and scope of engagement, with opportunities for growth and performance-based incentives. Compensation range: $100,000 to $120,000 plus.
