Job Summary The Senior Commercial Financial Analyst reports to the Commercial Finance Manager for North America (or designate) and is a key contributor to the revenue forecasting, budgeting, and P&L planning for the North America region, covering Pharma and Dental markets. The role involves designing and implementing budgeting processes, aligning financial information with accounting, and fostering a performance culture focused on profitability and cash generation. Responsibilities Accountable for financial reports and analysis for Pharma and Dental operations, including trend analysis, financial statements, department reporting, and forecasting. Ensure appropriate revenue recognition methodology on a monthly basis in accordance with IFRS. Oversee financial oversight of customer contracts, credit analysis, and credit insurance within the Pharma business. Collaborate with functional departments to develop and monitor performance metrics aligned with company objectives. Partner with the Accounting Group on financial transactions, capital spending, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. Reconcile and analyze financial information, post journal entries, and assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting. Validate financial statements in BI and CPM for the region. Prepare and analyze reports from large volumes of financial data for cost analysis, profit determination, and business development. Lead or assist in financial and economic analysis projects, including statistical modeling, IFRS compliance, and multi‑year budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Provide financial insight to executives, directors, and department managers to support decision‑making. Act as a Financial Business Partner, delivering coaching, technical advice, and continuous improvement recommendations. Qualifications University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field. Recognized accounting designation preferred. Experience Minimum 5 years of significant accounting/finance experience with senior management involvement. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project timelines. Proven analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions. High priority on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial deadlines. Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate with staff, management, external resources, and auditors. Advanced MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems (SAP or Microsoft AX). Proficiency in A/R, A/P, inventory, and product costing processes. Experience with project reporting and percentage‑of‑completion accounting is an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
