**Position Overview**:
As our Project Accounting, Financial Analyst - Junior, you will be responsible for supporting the financial management of parts sales orders and service contracts, including project set-up, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and variance reporting. You will assist with project closings in SAP, accounts receivable follow-up, and preparing invoice backup, while collaborating with internal departments and external customers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

**Your Day to Day as Project Accounting, Financial Analyst (Junior)**:

- **Projects & Sales Orders** - Set up and maintain projects in SAP/Timberline, monitor budgets, costs, and cash flow, process scope or contract changes, and complete month-end revenue recognition activities.
- **Customer Invoicing** - Prepare and issue invoices for time and material billings and stand-alone sales orders, reconcile material costs, and compile invoice backup for customers.
- **Forecasting** - Support monthly cash forecasts and quarterly project forecasts, including bookings, revenue, costs, gross profit, and billings, and enter data into the forecasting system.
- **Meeting Preparation** - Develop internal cost review materials such as profit statements and risk and opportunity lists, working closely with Project Managers.
- **Compliance & Audit Support** - Provide information for internal and external audits and ensure adherence to SOX, COSO, and other internal control requirements.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in an accounting-related discipline.
- Minimum of two years in an accounting role.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, mainly Excel. Knowledge in SAP would be an asset.
- Team player: able to work across different teams and contribute to a positive environment.
- Hands on, detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Good relationship-building skills with a commitment to supporting a team.
