Financial Horizons continues to operate independently in the marketplace. The Investment Specialist is responsible for processing investment transactions and trades, both timely and accurately. What you will do Full scrubbing of received applications ensuring that SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met Communicates with advisors to obtain missing information and/or signatures required on investment applications Application entry into the WealthServ system Ensuring adherence to process to mitigate required LOI’s Email wire order confirmation for application submission Completes transactions and trades on WealthServ system Transfer follow ups – ongoing updates to ensure current data is captured in the WealthServ system Retrieve and respond to incoming email inquiries and requests Works extensively with back office systems, WealthServ, as well as insurance carrier websites Work is carried out with some latitude to decide when and how work is completed Results directly contribute to the performance of the team The position requires no direct supervision or coordination of employees, but may occasionally assist other employees by providing them with information What you will bring Possesses specialized knowledge of investment products, specifically Segregated Funds Minimum of 3 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry Proven experience in Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of WealthServ an asset Completion of Post-Secondary School, or equivalent Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Edmonton, Saskatoon, Vancouver or Winnipeg. The base salary for this position is between $45,600 – $68,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
