Nimmons Law Office is looking for a junior to intermediate Legal Assistant/Paralegal with litigation experience. We are a boutique firm located just off Uptown 17 in the historic Nimmons Residence (a Calgary Heritage site). Our practice consists of a Senior Litigator with more than 25 years at the bar, a Junior Lawyer, and two senior Legal Assistants who each assist one lawyer and share in administrative duties. Nimmons Law Office environment is casual with a busy, fast-paced litigation practice.
The ideal candidate will be intermediate with litigation experience, or a graduate of a legal assistant program with some exposure to litigation. The candidate will assist the litigation team and will also be responsible for some administrative duties. Nimmons Law is a growing firm, with a solid client base, and will be adding additional lawyers and support staff in the near future. We are a varied litigation practice providing an opportunity for the candidate to increase experience and to grow with Nimmons Law.
