Quality Control Inspector - SFI Grande PrairieJoin to apply for the Quality Control Inspector - SFI Grande Prairie role at Stream-Flo Industries.Internal candidates: apply by logging in to UltiPro.External candidates: apply with the Apply Now button.Key Position FunctionsDismantle and prepare equipment for repair and inspectionConduct dimensional inspections on productsComplete all reporting and documentation as requiredAdvise on and assist in creation of NCIR’s for products and equipmentPerform hardness testing as requiredAdvise Engineering/Production of any missing requirements or issues with repairs (missing specifications, inaccurate descriptions, etc)Review and approve equipment for final inspectionInform Supervisor/Management of any irregularities with equipmentCorrect equipment deficiencies within allowable tolerance using pneumatic and hand tooling as requiredOrganize and directly support farm-out inventoryAfterhours availability when requiredPerform other related duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsHigh School DiplomaMachine Shop Inspection Training / experience required (minimum 1 year) – dimensional inspection, hardness testing, understanding of technical drawingsUnderstanding of basic trigonometryA basic understanding of hand and power tool functionalityExperience with wellhead and valve equipment an assetStrong mechanical aptitude, a good work ethic and willingness to learnForklift experience an assetExperience with wellhead and valve equipment an assetEffective communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and maintain deadlinesKnowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of ERP software such as SAP an assetStrong commitment to workplace safetyThe Stream-Flo Group of Companies, consisting of Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. and Master Flo Valve Inc., are privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturers of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment, as well as chokes, specialty control valves and supporting actuation.
