Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and continuously strengthen our Quality Management System within a patient-centered fertility clinic environment. This role is critical to ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and successful accreditation across multiple governing and accrediting bodies, such as CPSO, Ontario Public Health, Accreditation Canada, Health Canada, OHPIP, ICHSC, AABB. Reporting to the Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Quality Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across quality, risk, safety, infection prevention and control, and accreditation activities. Key Responsibilities Quality Management & Compliance Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the clinic’s integrated Quality Management System. Establish quality standards across clinical, laboratory, and operational services, including health and safety requirements. Conduct audits of day-to-day service delivery to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for process improvement. Develop, review, and update global policies, procedures, and SOPs on an annual basis. Maintain and control the organization’s document management and policy library. Accreditation & Regulatory Oversight Coordinate and facilitate accreditation and external assessment processes, including but not limited to: CPSO Accreditation Canada Health Canada OHPIP ICHSC AABB Act as the primary liaison with external regulatory and accrediting bodies. Coordinate site inspections and oversee follow-up actions. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and provincial legislation, including MOL, MOE, Health Canada, FDA and Ontario Public Health requirements. Infection Prevention & Control (IPAC) and Safety Develop, implement, and monitor the Infection Prevention & Control (IPAC) program. Conduct facility safety inspections and audits. Monitor incident reporting processes, analyze trends, and lead corrective and preventive actions. Provide or coordinate health and safety education and training for staff, including programs delivered through Citation Canada. Provide stewardship and leadership to Quality Assurance, Patient Care, Leadership & Partnership, Occupational Health & Safety, and Laboratory & Patient (L&P) Committees. Develop and produce the annual Ontario Fertility Program report. Contribute to organizational planning initiatives, including Strategic, Operational, Risk, Emergency, Disaster, Contingency, and Quality & Patient Safety plans. Support the development of organizational scorecards and balanced scorecard reporting. Collaboration & Organizational Support Partner closely with department heads to support the development and maintenance of procedure manuals. Collaborate with the HR Manager to promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Liaise with external healthcare professionals and organizations to ensure services meet accepted professional standards. Serve as Acting Quality Manager for the affiliated Cord Blood Bank, as required. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in an IVF clinic/laboratory setting. Formal training and demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and quality control systems. Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving capabilities. Public relations or external stakeholder engagement experience is considered an asset.
