**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture and/or laboratory format based on the approved curricula
- Implement and manage company policies and procedures such as attendance, grade reports, midterm reports, student advising forms, and all other assigned educational materials on a timely basis
- Timely completion and submission of all grade books and marking of all tests, examinations and assignments
- Participate in faculty/staff meetings, committee meetings, professional development workshops, graduation ceremonies, and other school functions as requested

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management or Healthcare Administration and certification as a Registered Health Information Technician or Registered Health Information Administrator required.
- Familiar with the Canadian public health system and the healthcare industry.
- Minimum 3 years’ healthcare management teaching and industry experience.
- Working knowledge of electronic healthcare record systems. Must possess an understanding of instructional technology.
- Must demonstrate continuing professional development related to the role of a healthcare management professional.
- Prior teaching experience in a college or university setting; practical experience in the Healthcare Management field.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, implementation and assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to teach within, and contribute positively to, a diverse, multi-ethnic, multicultural student population and campus environment.
- Letters of recommendation (all should be professional references and at least one from a recent superior) required.
