About Medicom Do you think you have what it takes to work in an organization where creativity, ambition and initiative are valued, and where integrity drives everything we do? Medicom has been in business for over 35 years and has retained its entrepreneurial spirit. By working with us, you will have the opportunity to get involved, make a real impact and contribute to the continued growth of the company. We live our values every day by focusing on customer satisfaction while promoting teamwork, accountability and empathy. Our team thrives in fast-paced environments. You will benefit from flexibility to balance your work, personal life and well-being. The Opportunity We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planning for specific made-to-stock categories. In this role, you will analyze historical demand and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to build an accurate demand plan while ensuring sufficient manufacturing capacity to meet market requirements. You will thrive in this position if you combine a strong analytical mindset with solid planning and purchasing experience, enjoy solving complex problems, and can drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Build and manage demand forecasts based on the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for assigned categories. Align demand with supply and translate requirements into purchase orders to minimize back orders. Monitor progress indicators (tables, graphs, reports) and adjust planning as needed based on operational realities. Track forecast accuracy metrics such as forecast error % and bias. Manage inventory, back-orders, and slow-moving stock while ensuring optimal levels of safety stock. Support new product launches and end-of-life product phase-outs. Oversee logistics activities such as transport, receiving, QC releases, and transfers. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure synchronized business planning. Uphold Medicom’s quality procedures and confidentiality standards. What You Bring 2–3 years of experience in logistics or distribution, with at least 1 year as a Demand Planner. Experience in the medical device or retail manufacturing sector (an asset). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear recommendations. Working knowledge of S&OP processes and forecasting tools (ERP, PBI, etc.). Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on operational execution. Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and “get things done” attitude. Respect for Medicom’s core values: accountability, customer centricity, teamwork, and empathy. Assets Experience in entrepreneurial or fast-growing business environments. Understanding of medical device supply chain and commercial processes. Exposure to Lean or Agile methodologies. University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. What We Offer Competitive salary. Comprehensive benefits package, including Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and telemedicine services. Company‑matched retirement plan. Opportunities for training, coaching, and professional development. A dynamic and friendly work environment, with an active social committee organizing events such as sports activities, BBQs, and family gatherings. Equal Opportunity Employer Medicom is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all applicants without regard to age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnic or national origin, religious beliefs, sex (including pregnancy and breastfeeding), disability, or marital or family status. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals and encourage Indigenous persons, persons of color, LGBTQ+ and gender‑nonconforming persons, persons with disabilities, women, and members of any other marginalized group.
