We have a great full time job opportunity in Mississauga We are looking for someone that has experience in dealing with over sea’s containers and international freight. Will be working with a great team in a growing work environment.

Must have experience in overseas containers/international FRT . Tracking, dealing with brokers/customs.

Job Details:
– Procures, receives, and issues materials, supplies, equipment and tools
– Tracking of shipments
– Excellent customer service and communication as you are dealing with brokers directly
– Inspects shipments and records damages or defects; notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel of same.
– Ensures delivery to job site or area.
– Records pertinent information in computerized inventory and financial systems.
– Prepares purchasing and accounting paperwork such as small purchase orders and requisitions; reconciles invoices with purchase orders in preparation for payment processing.
– Corresponds with suppliers for quotes

Pay rate:
– $24/hour paid weekly
– Get your 1st day’s pay after your 2nd shift with our Quick Start Pay Program

Shift:
– Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Requirements:
– At least 1 year of experience in a related position with customs experience
– Knowledge of accounting procedures involving procurement, travel, and/or employment.
– Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
– Experience with records maintenance and database management
– Basic math skills
– Knowledge of plumbing supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
