OverviewService Manager within Prison Substance Misuse Service, at HMP High Down, Sutton, Surrey. Full-timePerks and benefitsCompetitive salary ranging from £37,433 to £45,751 annually, ensuring your dedication is well-rewarded.Continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and advance within the organisation.Comprehensive pension scheme and life assurance for peace of mind in planning your future.Generous annual leave to unwind and recharge, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Access to employee assistance programmes that provide advice and support for personal and professional challenges.A vibrant and supportive working environment where your contributions make a tangible impact on people’s lives.ResponsibilitiesLine manage Team Leaders within your Service, providing guidance and support to maximise their effectiveness.Contribute to strategic planning and solve challenges in collaboration with the Regional Manager by aligning with our business plan.Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within your service to ensure cohesive operations.Produce performance reports for commissioners and attend contract meetings to maintain high standards of service delivery.Ensure all data accurately reflects service output and is submitted within deadlines while ensuring audit compliance.Assume the role of CQC registered manager post-probation and ensure all CQC requirements are met.Demonstrate flexibility with service delivery, which may include evening and weekend shifts, ensuring continuity of care.RequirementsLevel 3 or higher management qualification, or equivalent work experience in a similar setting.In-depth understanding of drug and alcohol services, including addiction treatment programmes, preferably within a prison environment.Proven experience in developing service improvements and managing people and performance effectively.Expertise in collecting, recording, and analysing data for audits and reports.Strong negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to solve problems positively.Knowledge of psychosocial and 12-step interventions, with experience in the voluntary sector and human resource management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database monitoring systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
