About the Company

Our client is sourcing a Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-Month Contract.

About the Opportunity

  • Assist in the month-end close process
  • Assist in the maintenance of the organization’s general ledger and accounting processes
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting/packages for senior management, the Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies
  • Work with other functional departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information, resolve issues, and solve problems
  • Perform ad-hoc projects, analysis and reporting as required
  • Primarily responsible for payment of Accounts Payable
  • Assist with Vendor Management
  • Other tasks or projects as assigned.

About You

  • Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently gather, formulate and analyze data to support recommendations by the CFO to the Board
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize various deliverables
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
