Industrial Electrician – Edmonton Plant Maple Leaf Foods invites applications for a full‑time Industrial Electrician to support the Edmonton manufacturing plant. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and mechanical services (600 V AC and lower field wiring, instrumentation, controls, PLCs). Carry out verbal/written work requests and apply corrective measures in a timely fashion. Perform preventative maintenance and regular work orders; account for inventory and labour on the computerized maintenance system. Fulfill all Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, WHIMS, MSDS and BRC policy requirements. Qualifications Journeyman Red Seal Electrician certificate holder with a minimum of 2 years experience. Poultry processing experience an asset. Accustomed to working with computerized maintenance and inventory reporting systems. Excellent written and verbal English skills. Self‑directed team player, open to new technology, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail. Must have a full complement of personal/professional hand tools identified for the Food Safety program. Compensation Hourly Rate: $46.21 USD (negotiable).
