The successful incumbent will be responsible for the effective and timely reporting of all WCB claims across Canada (excluding Quebec) while simultaneously working with managers, employees, WCB consultants, safety teams and legal counsel.ScheduleMon-Fri, 40 hoursReporting toVP, Total Rewards, Payroll & HRISWhat you will doEnsure the overall management of all occupational injury cases across the organization from initial reporting to closure. Ensure that all claims are managed efficiently and in compliance with all laws and regulations.Guide managers, employees and safety professionals at the organization on the WCB claim processCollaborate with stakeholders across the organization on developing strategies for effectively managing the casesAct as a first point for all claims internally within our organization and with our WCB consultantsDevelop and implement return-to-work programs and strategies for injured employees, focusing on safe, timely and effective transitions back to work.Provide training to management and employees on workers’ compensation policies, injury prevention, and claims reporting proceduresAnalyze claims data and trends to identify potential risks.
