This role requires that qualified candidates must reside in one of the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan. ****Only applicants from locations above will be considered. **** Workers Compensation Claims Manager Are you experienced in managing workers compensation claims for Quebec? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and ensure the efficient intake and management of workplace injury claims, in line with provincial requirements and our client's policies. Key Responsibilities: Claims Management: Open claims with the Quebec Workers’ Compensation Board (CNESST) and manage them proactively to minimize time-loss and costs. Incident Investigation: Investigate and analyze reported incidents to identify and address issues promptly. Communication: Maintain regular and open communication with clients, injured workers, and the CNESST. Legislation Interpretation: Interpret and apply Quebec's workers’ compensation legislation, policies, and procedures. Reporting and Appeals: File injury reports, identify appeal issues, and draft objection letters. Case Management: Develop, implement, and monitor return-to-work and rehabilitation strategies. Medical Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on medical reports and review CNESST correspondence. Independent Medical Evaluations: Identify and prepare files for Independent Medical Evaluations (IME). Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in managing workers' compensation claims in Quebec. Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and the claims management process in Quebec. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French. Education: Background in human resources, health and safety, or insurance is an asset.
