As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Business Development Representative with experience working with complex organizations and overseeing acquisition or research and development initiatives. You understand how to navigate intricate procurement processes, operational requirements, and programmatic needs. In this role, you’ll help shape and deliver innovative solutions to prospective customers and clients who expect the highest level of performance. What You’ll Do Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Avalon’s holographic display technology across various industries and dual-use applications. Translate complex product capabilities into mission-relevant value propositions. Represent Avalon at demos, industry events, and trade shows. Track relevant programs, RFPs, and funding streams alongside our program team. Capture and share customer insights to influence product development and engagement strategies. What You’ll Need To Succeed A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field; or equivalent experience in a customer-facing or business development role (ideally in a start-up environment). 3-5+ years in business development, capture management. Strong communication and consultative sales skills. Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout Canada and the U.S. to engage with partners and customer prospects.
