Join to apply for the Human Resources Generalist role at Atlas Copco We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented and bilingual HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team This versatile role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence across all core HR functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and driving HR initiatives related to talent acquisition, policy updates and compliance, certification processes, performance management, and employee engagement. Location: Saint-Laurent (QC) or Mississauga (ON). Work schedule: 35 hours per week, in-office presence 3 times per week. Reports to the Human Resources Manager. Key Responsibilities Lead and support full-cycle recruitment strategies: partner with hiring managers to manage the recruitment process from job posting through onboarding. Responsible for creating, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures in accordance with evolving legislation and best practices. Coordinate and deliver employee training sessions and communication plans related to HR initiatives. Maintain compliance with governmental regulations and certifications. Prepare and submit documentation to external agencies, manage survey distribution and analysis. Manage the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, tracking progress, and supporting continuous feedback. Support HR projects such as employee engagement programs, HR system upgrades, change management, and organizational development. Support the development and implementation of DEI strategies, including internal communications and training initiatives. Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, and high performance across the organization. Comply with environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards. All other related tasks and projects. What You Bring Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant HR role, including exposure to policy development, talent acquisition, and performance management. Bachelor’s degree or certificate in human resources management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using an HRIS system (Dayforce, SuccessFactors, etc). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities in both English and French. High level of discretion and integrity with confidential information. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Strong problem‑solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
