Responsibilities Develop and execute a global supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals for solar projects and operations. Lead long-term planning for procurement, inventory, and logistics to support large-scale renewable energy projects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance. Oversee sourcing and procurement of key components, including solar panels, inverters, racking systems, electrical components, and other critical materials. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers in the renewable energy sector. Negotiate long-term contracts ensuring best value, compliance, and risk mitigation. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using KPIs, scorecards, and audits. Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to align supply chain activities with project timelines and budgets. Ensure on-time delivery of materials to project sites across multiple regions. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to tariffs, geopolitical factors, and global market fluctuations. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals across procurement, logistics, and materials management. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Ensure compliance with local, federal, and international trade regulations. Maintain accurate reporting on supply chain metrics, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in the renewable energy/solar industry. Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, global procurement, and vendor management. Strong experience managing large-scale, multi-site projects in fast-paced environments. Deep understanding of solar project components (modules, inverters, BOS, etc.). Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain analytics tools. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Preferred Attributes Experience with utility-scale solar projects and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) models. Knowledge of import/export regulations and international logistics. Proven track record of cost optimization and process improvement in supply chain operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
