Position OverviewThe Port Alice Health Centre has an opening for a Family Physician (0.3 FTE) to join a team of dedicated health care professionals providing primary care services to a community of 1,200 residents. The successful candidate will have full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Port Alice Health Centre services include Emergency, General Radiology, Laboratory, Mental Health, Public Health and Home Nursing Care.Location & CommunityPort Alice is the gateway to the rugged and pristine west coast and is the ideal practice location for outdoor enthusiasts. The community enjoys shopping, library, restaurants, recreational complex, hockey and curling rinks, indoor swimming pool, boating, fishing, hiking, kayaking and golf. It is accessible by highway and the nearest airport is Port Hardy, about 50 km to the northeast.
