Overview Expression of Interest - Sessional Instructors, Science Employment opportunity number: 25.124 Department: School of Science Salary: $5750-$6500 stipend per 3-credit course Term: January 2026 – April 2026 Campus: Whitehorse, Ayamdigut Closing date: October 27, 2025 Responsibilities Teach courses in the School of Science during the Winter 2026 semester on a casual basis. Deliver course content, assess student work, and provide feedback as appropriate for the assigned course(s). Collaborate with program staff as needed and adhere to Yukon University teaching guidelines. Qualifications Minimum: Master of Science (M.Sc.) in a relevant discipline; Ph.D. preferred. Prior post-secondary teaching experience is an asset. Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to engage students in a remote or in-person setting as required. Courses (illustrative) AREC 365: Natural Resource and Environmental Economics. Other courses may become available.
