Are you interested in building and teaching professional development curriculum for Yukon’s Education Assistants?
Yukon University is looking for qualified individuals, on a casual basis, to develop and teach micro‑courses for Education Assistants. Areas of emphasis may include:
- The role of Educational Assistants in Schools
- Supporting Students with Complex Learning and Physical Needs
- Strategies for Supporting the Learning of Students with Individualized Education Plans
- Interprofessional Communications and Teamwork
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have relevant master’s-level education and/or K-12 teaching experience. Prior curriculum development experience will be considered an asset.
