The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada, and one of the world’s leading research centres in its field. Its services are delivered to help transform the lives of people affected by mental illness and addictions, tailoring treatment to each individual with patient‑centred, comprehensive, coordinated care.The Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre is the first research and education centre in Canada dedicated to improving care for adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health challenges. The Centre’s efforts are organized around four pillars: research excellence, clinical innovation, education and training, and knowledge exchange.Position SummaryReporting directly to the Manager, the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre at CAMH is seeking a casual CH&E Coordinator to support a program focused on individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. In this role, the Coordinator will support the development and implementation of strategies to disseminate research findings, resources, and program materials in ways that maximize their uptake by diverse communities and stakeholders. The Coordinator will also contribute to communications and knowledge mobilization initiatives across digital and in‑person platforms, including social media, newsletters, and events, collaborating with stakeholders such as people with lived experience, caregivers, service providers, and researchers to ensure communications are accessible, engaging, and inclusive. Other duties may be added based on the program’s needs and the skills and interests of the successful candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the engagement of people with lived experience and caregivers by translating their voices into accessible communications and resources.Contribute to social media, web, and multi‑media strategies to enhance visibility, reach, and impact of program resources.Map opportunities for equity‑focused dissemination and ensure resources are tailored to diverse populations (e.g., Francophone, Indigenous, racialized, autistic communities).Participate in partnerships and advisory groups, providing communications expertise to support their goals.Promote and facilitate engagement in knowledge generation by creating outputs such as infographics, reels, toolkits, and digital campaigns.The individual will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable CAMH policies and regulatory and legislative requirements. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. This position is located at 1025 Queen Street West.Job RequirementsMaster’s degree in Communications, Health Promotion, or a related social/health sciences discipline, plus a minimum of three (3) years of related research, communications, or community development experience (preferably in the mental health and/or social services sector).Demonstrated experience in knowledge mobilization, communications, or digital engagement (e.g., social media management, multimedia storytelling, accessible knowledge translation).Strong skills in community engagement, with experience working with equity‑deserving or marginalized populations.Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.Commitment to principles of equity, inclusivity, respect, and social justice.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.Familiarity with Ontario’s mental health and addictions system is an asset.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communications tools (social media platforms, newsletters, basic design software).Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in another language is considered an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
