Air Inuit Management and its dedicated employees are committed to pursuing a tradition of safe, punctual and courteous air service for the growing number of people living and doing business in this enchanting region of Nunavik in Northern Québec. Base Pay Range CA$49,614.00/yr – CA$67,397.00/yr Position Overview The Station Supervisor actively participates in the operational management of check‑in, boarding, arrivals, and baggage handling at the Montreal‑Trudeau Airport terminal. They report directly to the local Station Manager. Duties and Responsibilities Establish and maintain contractual relationships with service providers at the Montréal airports and ensure compliance with SLAs. Act as a point of reference for service provider agents. Monitor local daily operations and respond quickly to irregularities to minimize impacts. Rigorously manage operational plans related to Montréal operations. Receive and verify baggage delivery reports from ground service providers and follow up as required. Liaise with airport authorities. Represent Air Inuit at various airport community meetings in Montreal and Quebec City (AOC, ACC, TOWG, etc.) in place of the Station Manager when absent. Act as the first responder for Air Inuit at the Montreal CCU and receive emergency alerts for Montreal. Reconcile and approve monthly invoices for general fees for the airport terminal and baggage rooms in place of the Station Manager. Receive bulletins, ATZRs, and other communications from the Montreal Airport Authority and ensure they are forwarded to the appropriate internal departments. Attend weekly operational meetings and follow up on SMS files related to the department. Perform any other related tasks requested by management. Qualifications Be dynamic and motivated. Must be able to obtain a RAIC pass as well as a D/A (Ramp Driver’s Permit). Have extensive experience in airport operations and employee management. A certification in administration is an asset. Be bilingual (French/English, spoken and written). Ability to speak Inuktitut is an asset. Good knowledge of air transport regulations and Transport Canada laws. Good knowledge of Air Inuit’s network and internal procedures is a considerable asset. Have strong leadership skills in management. Be available to travel within Nunavik and to other destinations. The successful candidate must have a valid passport. Working Conditions Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday, 37.5 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday coverage from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday coverage from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Compensation Air Inuit Ltd provides a company‑contributed RRSP, a Group Insurance (life, dental, health care, short and long term disability), 6% vacation, and various other innovative benefits and recognition opportunities.
