The Finance Systems Accountant is to lead and support the business. Provide day to day management of the Watercare financial systems, including reviewing systems performance and identifying system issues or improvements.
The Financial System Accountant is responsible to maintain the control and accuracy of the finance systems, including running month end system processes, and managing finance system day-to-day enhancements, fixes and maintenance.
In this role you will be someone who is not only proficient in using advanced Excel features and BI tools, such as Power BI but also has experience handling and integrating data from a data lake environment. Additionally, you will have a solid background in business analysis with a focus on financial modelling. In addition you will have:
- Between 3-5 years New Zealand based experience
- Good with technology & has some ERP experience
- Strong social and communication skills in order to engage with the business
- Month end reporting experience
