Coordinator, Facility Management Defence Construction Canada (DCC) invites Canadians and permanent residents to apply for the Coordinator, Facility Management role. Key qualifications: college diploma in facility management or related field with four years of relevant experience. Preferred certifications: Civil Engineering Technician, Construction Engineering Technician, Real Property Management, Facilities Management Administrator. Remuneration: $79,067 – $102,788 annually. Employment status: Continuing. Term length: ongoing. Security clearance required: Secret. Language requirement: Bilingual preferred. Schedule: Full‑time. Travel: routine office travel; occasional on‑site site work. Responsibilities Manage and administer contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Provide support services to maintenance programs to keep buildings and systems energy‑efficient. Support the operations and maintenance of facilities. Conduct regular inspections for compliance, performance and safety. Maintain records, schedules, documents and prepare standard reports. Coordinate third‑party input into contracts. Prepare building asset inventories. Review maintenance management plans for conformity to industry, legislative, and client standards. Conduct energy audits of facilities and make recommendations. Develop and maintain effective relationships within DCC and with stakeholders. Ensure quality standards are met in line with corporate and client expectations. Support and/or lead business development activities. Manage risk. Qualifications and Abilities Best practices, methods, trends and legislation in facility management and construction contract management. Project and risk management principles. Ability to use applicable computer software and operating systems. Apply project and risk management techniques. Functional advice and guidance to employees and client partners. Working Conditions Typical office environment with routine travel. Occasional work on construction sites; may require basic safety equipment.
