If so, this role is for you AECOM is seeking a Procurement Specialist to work closely with and directly support the Procurement Manager in a full-time, hybrid position. You’ll be a key driver in keeping procurement activities running smoothly, suppliers aligned, and projects on track. You’ll work closely with a supportive Procurement Manager and learn the full procurement lifecycle. Responsibilities Act as the go-to support for the Procurement Manager across current and future projects Support the Procurement Manager in developing and maintaining procurement strategies plans and client deliverables Actively build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and project teams to drive collaboration and successful outcomes Bring brilliant, creative ideas to share with clients and enhance project outcomes Assist with procurement planning, scheduling, and tracking of materials and services Support contract and purchase order administration from award through delivery Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Client team to keep everyone aligned Help resolve supplier issues and keep communication flowing Maintain procurement logs, reports, and dashboard Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline: engineering, finance, business, etc. 6+ years experience of procurement related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in procurement in a project-based environments on large infrastructure capital project delivery Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, detail-oriented team player who enjoys supporting others Strong organizational and communication skills Someone who takes initiative and loves a “let’s get it done” mindset Understand, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions is an asset Additional Information Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $100000 to $145000.
