You will work on provincial transportation facilities projects including environmental assessments, design of maintenance patrol yards, inspection facilities, and rest areas. You will play a key role on our Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) projects.This position is available at one of our Ontario offices (Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener, Oakville, Windsor, Chatham, Hamilton, London, Kingston & Ottawa) with flexible work arrangements.ResponsibilitiesWhat your day will look likeProject Management & DesignManage transportation engineering projects and multidisciplinary teamsDevelop technical expertise on various transportation projectsLead technical report and study preparations, including EA documentationPrepare contract documents, drawings, specifications, and estimatesManage stakeholder consultations and presentationsCommunicate regularly with clients and oversee project budgetsBusiness DevelopmentPrepare estimates and proposalsMaintain and develop MTO client relationshipsIdentify new business opportunitiesContribute to the leadership of the Transportation Facilities GroupTravel for meetings and to other Dillon officesLearning & DevelopmentEngage in ongoing professional developmentMentor and support junior staffParticipate in professional associationsQualificationsWhat you will need to succeedDegree in civil engineeringLicensed Professional Engineer in OntarioAt least 15 years of related experienceLeadership and business development skillsExperienceExperience with MTO environmental assessments and design of provincial infrastructureExperience with alternative project delivery modelsLeadership of multidisciplinary teamsProject management proficiencyExperience with public and agency consultationsProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google SuiteStrong communication skillsWhy choose DillonDillon offers a collaborative environment, growth opportunities, and a commitment to core values like reliability, achievement, continuous development, creativity, courage, and inclusiveness.
