The Senior Project Coordinator – Piping will support the execution of specific parts of the project, including areas such as the Turbine Hall, Cooling Water Systems, and related auxiliary buildings and systems. This role focuses on helping the team meet key goals for safety, quality, schedule, and cost. Responsibilities Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive work packages in cooperation with construction and engineering. Provide status reports of project milestones and adjustments to schedules. Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, as-built drawings, turnover documents, etc. Ensure construction activities comply with approved policy, standards, programs and applicable procedures. Facilitate liaison between field trades and design engineers for problem resolution and information flow. Forecast and track change orders and scope changes. Coordinate all site procurement activities including validation of material specifications, preparation of purchase requisitions, material tracking and ensuring traceability when installed. Establish and maintain interfaces with internal groups, subcontractors and suppliers supporting the project. Develop and write detailed work plans in cooperation with construction leads. Maintain high standards related to final product quality. Plan and coordinate Construction and Commissioning Completion Declaration reviews in collaboration with Construction, Commissioning and Operation entities. Identify and analyze punch items and follow up on their completion. Chair Construction Completion Declaration review. Prepare acceptance forms and reports and ensure sign-of obtained before transferring responsibility. Identify appropriate engineering standards and practices for transfer of system during different phases of the project. Maintain departmental costs within budget. Perform regular field tours to check work progress and meet with project site personnel. Carry out site safety inspections. Participate in company-wide initiatives aimed at overall continuous improvement. Qualifications Post-secondary university or college technical degree and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in a related role with piping experience. Ability to handle all matters in a confidential and professional manner. Excellent organizational, communication and customer relationship skills. Strong team coordination and work-together mindset. Extensive knowledge of project execution, financial operations, estimating, and employee relations required. Proficient business development skills and an operations background. Must meet mandated nuclear export controls requirements for employment. Other Requirements Regular, reliable attendance. Work productively and meet deadlines timely. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. Perform work safely and effectively; understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines; overtime and weekends as required. May work at various locations and conditions may vary.
