This opportunity is tailor made for a dynamic junior to intermediate level HR professional who is tech-savvy and has an eye for marketing lay-out and design, and is looking to grow their business experience in a dual HR and graphic design role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources:

  • Prepare various administrative communications, which can include: employment letters, merit increase letters, bonus letters, new hire packages and other HR correspondence.
  • Support full cycle recruitment administrative support including job postings, administering online assessments, coordination of interviews, reference checks and collection of background checks.
  • Review and enhancement of Employee Handbook and general company HR policies and procedures in collaboration with management team.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding administrative activities including assisting with new hire orientations and welcome packages, coordination of IT and workstation equipment, training schedules, payroll and benefits administration.
  • Facilitate all employee offboarding activities including: Resignation summaries, IT Coordination, Exit Surveys, and company communications.
  • Facilitate various HR projects such as employee surveys, comp benchmarking, ADP job titling, • Complete various ad hoc tasks and HR initiatives as needed.
  • Navacord HR Team will provide support as required in all facets of HR Coordinator role


Marketing:

  • Preparation of marketing content in digital and hard-copy mediums in support of the company’s overall marketing strategy.
  • Maintain a consistent and high-quality standard and theme in all marketing material produced by the firm.
  • Work closely with Account Manager and Sales Team to assist in producing visually appealing client/prospect presentations/proposals and sales collateral, in accordance with existing marketing design templates.
  • Work closely with Management Team to produce visually appealing ads, brochures, and collateral on targeted or specific marketing opportunities or campaigns, including email blasts to clients.
  • Provide input on social media (LinkedIn) strategy and content.
  • Create high quality social media content/posts with messaging and themes that effectively promote the company’s culture and value proposition.
  • Organize all marketing content in Marketing Folder library for easy access by staff.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of University Degree/College Diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • Min 2 years work experience in an HR recruitment or administrative capacity.
  • Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Graphic Design experience preferred but willing to train qualified candidate with an enthusiasm to learn.
  • Preference given to candidates experienced with InDesign or Photoshop software.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
