The main role is to rent apartments to prospective tenants and maintain administrative procedures and protocols related to the position, while supporting the other office staff as required.Typical Duties Include:Respond to rental inquiries by fax/telephoneTaking rental applications and last month's depositsRespond to tenant account and procedure inquiriesAnswer telephone calls and return emailsAccept rent payments (cheque, money order) and record on deposit sheetsSuperintendent inquiries re: existing and prospective tenantsRecommending apartments and setting up viewings with prospective tenantsComplete office paperworkTaking in and processing:Parking agreements and cancellationsNotice to vacate and notice to rescindTransfer requestsInform applicants of approved applicationsLease SigningPerform pre-vacate, move-in and move-out inspectionsProcess the A/R ReportProcess the Availability ReportDocument work order / service requests for residentsDelivery of notice of entries and legal documents to residentsPlease apply on our website www.homestead.ca/careers and be sure to upload your resume.A satisfactory reference check and criminal records clearance are required for the position.We thank all candidates for their interest, however only those being considered will be contacted directly.
