Senior Architect / Project Manager Higher Education Location: Toronto, ON Type: Full-time, Permanent Apply to: kim@citybuildrecruitment.com Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Architect or Project Manager with a strong background in Higher Education projects. The ideal candidate will have direct experience leading or designing projects for colleges or universities and a solid understanding of the planning, design, and delivery processes unique to post‑secondary institutions. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage higher education projects from design through construction. Oversee client communications, consultant coordination, and project schedules. Provide design leadership and technical oversight to ensure project excellence. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative, functional, and sustainable learning environments. Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations, and institutional standards. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture. Licensed Architect or eligibility for registration in Canada. 8+ years of professional experience, including significant exposure to college or university projects. Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and client management skills. Please note: Experience limited to K12 projects will not meet the requirements for this role, as our clients focus is on the Canadian higher education sector.
