Administration Coordinator – Laurentian Bank Join us to make banking better. Founded in 1846, Laurentian Bank serves families, businesses and communities across Canada and the United States. The administration coordinator works closely with IT, government agencies and internal operations teams to ensure the accurate and timely issuance of tax slips, reconciliation of remittances, and compliance with Canadian and U.S. tax laws. The role requires strong attention to detail, bilingual communication skills, and the ability to support and automate processes. Responsibilities Reconcile daily and monthly tax control accounts Ensure tax compliance of income remittances and payments throughout the tax year Perform regular and non‑resident tax remittances to Revenue Canada Remit U.S. income tax to the IRS Keep sector procedures up to date Participate in setting up reports and other requirements for tax production with stakeholders Work with IT stakeholders to issue tax statements according to schedule Validate tax statements before publication and dispatch Attend internal and external tax production meetings Monitor changes in government legislation Compile data, fill files, and index data in systems for issuing tax slips Produce year‑end reports for the firm to tax authorities within prescribed deadlines Produce year‑end reports under the FATCA‑CRS program Request corrections or duplicates of tax slips Manually compile data for certain products/accounts Serve as a resource person for internal and external customers Collaborate with IT to automate processes Contribute to the collective effort Perform related tasks as required Qualifications Completed university degree or college diploma and five years of experience in the field Bilingual (written & spoken) French and English* Knowledge of investment income tax laws Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook Experience with ISM, CPS, WorkDesk systems is an asset Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure Autonomous and proactive customer‑service oriented Team‑player with excellent communication skills in both languages Benefits Competitive base salary based on equity, skills and experience Comprehensive compensation package with annual reviews and performance bonuses Hybrid work model adapted to business needs Stock purchase plan with employer matching Paid vacation, floating days, leave options and a paid birthday day off Health and wellness programs, Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) and stress‑management support Group insurance and defined contribution pension plan Exclusive employee‑only offers and preferred rates on a wide range of services Inclusion and Accessibility Laurentian Bank is committed to an inclusive workforce that reflects the diversity of our customers and communities.
