Millwright – Nights: Sunday – Thursday 10:30pm – 6:30am Key Responsibilities: Must participate and work within safety regulations and guidelines while maintaining a safe work environment for all plant employees Must possess excellent Communication skills Performs preventive maintenance Completes records and reports Updates drawing and documentation as required Participates in continuous improvement Maintain repair and install mechanical and mechanically related equipment within the plant Assembles, disassembles, modifies mechanical equipment working from engineering drawings, field sketches, other related documents and verbal instruction needed to perform assigned duties Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of equipment and processes within scope of job. Certified in use of all required equipment Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical equipment problems Creative problem‑solving skills Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet using scissor‑lifts and ladders Working knowledge of lathe, milling machine, grinder and hand tools Working knowledge of MIG/TIG welding Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced team environment Must have good communication skills (verbal and written) Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others Must be physically fit Problem solving, job task planning and organizing, continuous learning and improvement Experience working in a food related environment in a maintenance capacity 5 years' experience in a maintenance role is an asset Experience with welding and machining At Dare Foods Limited, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive, accessible, equal‑opportunity environment that welcomes all individuals from all backgrounds because we know it will make our company a better place to work.
