You’ll help keep operations running smoothly by performing preventative and corrective maintenance and assisting with project work that drives Dufferin Aggregates’ success. Job Responsibilities:  Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipmentSupport troubleshooting, repair, installation, and replacement of equipment such as conveyors, pumps, pneumatic systems, compressors, and boilersParticipate in project work and annual shutdown activitiesHelp remove outdated or unused equipment as directedMaintain housekeeping standards and report deficiencies to the supervisorFollow all health and safety regulations, including PPE use and Lockout/Tagout procedures Requirements: Registered as a 3rd or 4th Year Millwright Apprentice under the 433A tradeProgress toward completion of apprenticeship and Certificate of QualificationBasic welding, cutting, and brazing skills (additional training provided)Familiarity with hoisting and rigging practices (asset)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematicsStrong troubleshooting skills for pumps, fans, blowers, and gear drivesAbility to work in varied conditions (outdoors, heights, confined spaces) This job posting reflects an existing vacancy.
